The short version
Egg Thief has no accounts and asks for no name, email, photos or age. Your farm is saved on your phone. The game shows ads from Google, and every player gets child-directed ads that are never personalised. The game doesn't read your advertising ID, and we never sell your data.
This policy explains what the Egg Thief: Steal Eggs & Pets mobile game (“Egg Thief”, “the game”, “we”, “us”), made by Ash Build, does with information. It covers the Android game (package com.sahelgames.eggthief) and this website.
1. What stays on your phone
The game keeps one save file in its private storage on your device. It holds:
- your cash, Speed, treadmill, trails, base level and Bear Traps;
- the eggs and pets in your pen and storage, and which pets you've found in the Pet Index;
- boost timers (Turbo, Cash Boost), unlocked biomes, the daily gift day, the tutorial step, total play time and when you last played (to work out offline earnings);
- your settings (music and sound volume, vibration on or off);
- whether you bought Remove Ads.
We don't receive this file and it is not sent to any server. If your phone's Android backup is turned on, Android may include it in your own Google backup.
2. Ads
The game is free and shows ads through Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK):
- Optional videos you choose to watch for a reward, such as Turbo x3, Cash Boost x2, Hatch Now, Keep Your Egg, double offline earnings or a double daily gift. Every offer has a “No thanks”.
- A short full-screen ad that sometimes plays after you place an egg in your pen. Never in your first 5 minutes, never during a chase or the tutorial, at least 3 minutes apart, and never after you buy Remove Ads.
- No banner ads.
Because the game appeals to children, every ad request, for every player, is tagged as child-directed (COPPA) and under the age of consent (GDPR), and is limited to content rated for all ages (“G”). Google does not use these requests for personalised advertising, and the game is built without the advertising ID permission, so it cannot read your phone's advertising ID.
To show ads, count them and prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may still process limited data such as:
- your IP address and the approximate location it implies;
- device and app information (model, Android version, language, app version) and ad interactions (views, taps, whether a video finished);
- crash and performance data from the ad SDK.

3. Purchases
The only purchase is Remove Ads, a one-time item sold through Google Play. Google handles the payment; we never see your card or payment details. The game receives a purchase confirmation from Google Play so it can turn the full-screen ads off and restore the purchase if you reinstall (Settings → Restore purchase). The Unity In-App Purchasing library in the game passes this purchase information between the game and Google Play. Eggs, pets and cash are never sold for real money.
4. Other features
- Rival thieves are computer players inside the game. There is no chat, no multiplayer and no contact with other people.
- Vibration: the game uses the vibration motor for short taps when you steal, hatch or get caught. That's all the vibration permission is for, and you can turn it off in Settings.
- Internet: the game plays offline. It uses the internet only to load ads and to talk to Google Play for the Remove Ads purchase.
- No analytics, no login, no contacts, camera, microphone or location permission.

We do not sell personal information, and we don't share it with anyone else.
6. Keeping and deleting data
Your save stays on your phone until you delete it. To remove it, uninstall the game or clear its storage in Android settings (Apps → Egg Thief → Storage → Clear storage). Because there are no accounts, we hold no game data about you to delete. Data processed by Google for ads is kept according to Google's policies. If you email us, we keep the conversation only as long as needed to help you, and delete it on request.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or California law) you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to object to or limit its use, and to withdraw consent. Since the game data lives on your phone, you control it directly. For anything else, contact us and we'll help, or point you to the right partner. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Children
Egg Thief is a cartoon game everyone can enjoy, including children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included: the game has no sign-up, no age question and no way to send us names, photos or messages. Every player gets child-directed, non-personalised ads rated for all ages, from Google AdMob, which takes part in Google Play's Families program. Parents with questions can email us at any time.
9. Changes
If the game starts doing something new with data, we'll update this page and the date at the top before that version is released.
